5 Ways to Incentivize Vaccinated Customers

The pandemic is far from over. This is why the government is encouraging Filipinos to get vaccinated so that we can achieve herd immunity as soon as possible. To help, the business sector has stepped up and started offering incentives to vaccinated individuals.

Study the types of incentives below so you can decide what to apply in your business.

  1. Outright discount

This is the simplest. Just give a discount to any customer who will show their vaccination cards.

Example: Burger King gives a 10% discount for every dine-in transaction in any branch.

  1. Conditional discount

Vaccinated customers can get discounts once they fulfill a condition.

Example: Soban K-Town Grill gives a 10% discount for a minimum single-receipt of ₱1,500 to customers who dine in from Monday to Thursday.

  1. Free items or upgrades

Customers get a bonus item or an upgrade if they fulfill a minimum amount or purchase a certain item.

Example: Amici offers a free scoop of gelato when customers dine in for a minimum of ₱450.

  1. Buy One, Get One Promo

Customers can get the same item that they purchase.

Example: Macao Imperial Tea offers the BOGO promo on their classic Black Pearl Milk Tea.

  1. Offer a loyalty card

Make customers return to your store more than once by giving them a loyalty card or a bonus card.

Example: Manam gives customers a free Moment Card when they dine in for a minimum of ₱1,000. The membership card, which can also be purchased for ₱500, gives rewards to diners who visit Manam and other restaurants under The Moment Group (including Ooma, 8 Cuts Burgers, and Din Tai Fung).
